Sheefra Brisbin is the founder of Greenbridge Group – a consultancy offering a suite of services in the areas of Government Relations, Green Branding, Strategic Communications and International Protocol Training.

Sheefra began her career communicating the views of the petroleum industry on business, environment and health and safety issues and was recruited by the Federal Minister of the Environment to serve as a Special Assistant on Conservation and Protection policy. She acted as an advisor on issues such as climate change, pollution prevention and CEPA and represented Canada at international meetings including the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).   Sheefra’s federal government experience also includes service in the offices of Industry Canada and as a Special Assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada.

Sheefra Brisbin has worked for Sun Media Corporation and as Vice-President, Development for an award winning television/video/media production company.

Sheefra has participated extensively in many aspects of the Canadian political process and has successfully run mayoral, provincial and federal campaigns as well as special interest campaigns such as Earth Hour for the City of Ottawa for which she received the “Agent of Change” medal from the Mayor of Ottawa.

In  2014 Sheefra was appointed to the Board of Directors of Nature Canada and invited to be a founding Women of Nature (one of 75) in Canada.   In  2015 she was appointed Vice-Chair of the Board as well as  serving as Chair of the AGM & Awards Committee.    In 2015 she attended COP21 in Paris as an ENGO delegate and more recently she trained in Manilla under former Vice President Al Gore as a Climate Reality Project Leader
